About Bioti
Bioti Photography was officially established in 2005 when I decided to share my passion with others (and besides.. my kids got really tired of me taking pictures of them all the time!). When I was about 11 years old - my love for being behind the lens began. I was using an old Kodak Duaflex IV camera, with 620 film - now found in antique stores. A lot has changed between now and then, but what has stayed consistent is that there are still hearts and souls behind the faces that tell a story, and part of that story can be captured with portraits. That's what I truly love about photography! Not just taking "pictures" - but capturing moments that show what someone is truly about. That brings me to the answer of my most commonly asked question: How did you come up with the name Bioti?

When I decided to start the business, I wanted a name that would tell "why" I loved photography. As I was driving one day, the phrase "Beauty Is On The Inside" came to my mind. I wrote it down, underlined the first letter in each word, and it spelled "BIOTI" - I fell in love with it, and immediately knew it was the name I wanted to represent my values and my business.
The story of Bioti began, and continues to grow. I have been blessed to have the talent, the passion and the incredible opportunities to share it.
